TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your decision.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
